Now that you have previewed a few videos on the storytelling elements and techniques of photography, try to find a short video that focuses on one specific element or concept within photography or photo journalism. Consider:
-Using a cellphone or what cellphone is the best
-the power of light
-the history of photography
-why pictures are soooo famous?
-different types of cameras or lenses
-travel photography
-portraits
-color vs black and white
-Come up or research a topic that interests YOU!!! AND post your video with a short summary of we will learn from watching it on TEAMS of Office 365. (If the video is really long, tell us the time frame of the clips we should watch)

a) Study the types of shots from both images and read the effect of each shot.
b) Watch and go through the Hackney Roots
c) Get a partner or work on your own to take ONE of each of these shots on your phone.
d) See if you can identify the type of shot in random or selected photos (by teacher) and discuss effect.
e) Now that you understand the type of shot and effect, dive into the deeper understanding of the,
"Message/main idea/story" of a few pictures and/or frames in a film.

Choose a magazine or read an article on your phone (with permission)
a) Magazine name, title of article, author
Headline = ? Write it out in quotations...
b) Summarize the article and use an important quote to emphasize the main idea. Why is it significant or stand out in the article?
c) Describe the pictures/photographs used and explain how the picture and caption enhance your understanding and/or how it attracted you to reading the article.
d) Is the article/editorial neutral or does it reflect opinion or bias? Explain. (Hard or Soft news?)
e) What is the layout and style/perspective/tone of the article and what makes it easy or difficult to follow?
